Who is responsible
Afarward is made by Manuel Raso, a solo indie developer, who is responsible for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach me on Discord: raso94.
Launch updates
If you sign up for launch updates, I store your email address, the moment you gave your consent and a random code that lets you unsubscribe. I use them only to email you about the beta, the launch and major news or events, and you receive a welcome email when you sign up.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your address is kept until you unsubscribe: every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address.
Technical data
Like any website, the servers that deliver Afarward receive technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type, to serve the pages and keep the service working and secure.
Services that process data
The website, its database and the delivery of the emails run on trusted service providers located in the European Union. They process data only on my behalf and only to provide their service.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers. Your browser stores two small preferences on your device: whether the music is muted and whether you already signed up. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy of it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to me on Discord. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
